About the role
Our partner is looking for a Design Lead to be in charge of coaching a team of talented Digital Designers across multiple teams, providing guidance and constructive feedback while elevating design quality. You’ll help shape creative vision for the website, support design strategy, and enable the team to deliver impactful and positive user experiences
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and mentor multiple Digital Designers, enabling individual efficiency and improvement of their craft as they achieve professional growth.
- Work with Group Leadership and stakeholders to establish a clear creative direction in your website design and align user experiences with Marketing goals.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Marketing leads to coordinate Marketing goals and develop a high-impact overall roadmap.
- Ensure that website pages reflect cohesive brand experiences and create seamless user journeys and compelling product experiences.
- Maintain high standards for design quality, provide guidance, and foster a work environment that values impactful design excellence.
- Manage priorities and workloads for efficient resource allocation and focus on high-value initiatives, while maintaining a balance between short-term goals and long-term projects.
- Develop and refine design processes, systems and practices that enable high performance from the team
- Run design cadences and foster transparency through regular team schedules and meetings to ideate solutions and provide feedback.
You're probably a match if you have:
- Prior leadership experience as a coach/mentor for designers, with a genuine passion for supporting others' growth
- Strong background in end-to-end UX/UI design and creating impactful marketing surfaces
- A portfolio showcasing outstanding website design projects and experience in conversion rate optimization
- Strategic and focused mindset, able balance short-term work with long-term goals
- Excellent communication, able to simplify complex concepts across diverse stakeholders
- A collaborative approach with focus on user research and data-driven design decisions
