About the role

Our partner is on an exciting quest to revolutionize software security, and they're looking for a Software Engineer to join their ambitious team. As part of this dynamic group, you'll be at the forefront of creating an agile learning platform that empowers developers worldwide to master secure coding principles. 
 

In this role, you'll: 

• Help evolve code toward architectural goals, working on various technologies across the stack
• Craft elegant solutions as a valued member of a world-class development team 
• Bring products to life swiftly and efficiently 
• Evolve system architecture to keep pace with business growth 
• Thrive in a fast-paced development, security, and operations environment 
• Collaborate across the organization to achieve shared goals 

Your toolkit should include: 

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience 
• Expertise in Web UIs and REST APIs 
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript 
• Strong command of NodeJS 
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD 
• Familiarity with Agile practices
• Comfort with daily pair programming 

You'll shine even brighter if you bring: 

• Hands-on experience with TDD 
• Knowledge of Angular and React 
• Proficiency in other programming languages, particularly Java, C# and Python 
• Familiarity with MongoDB or similar document databases (NoSQL) 
• Understanding of microservices architectures 
• Experience with Kubernetes 
• Expertise in monitoring & alerting (ideally Datadog)
