About the role
Our partner is looking for a Global Equity Operations Lead who will guide and nurture the team responsible for scaling and administering global equity-based compensation programs. As part of the Corporate Legal team, you'll foster meaningful partnerships with People, Legal, Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Payroll teams to ensure seamless program operations.
What you'll do:
- Lead the strategic development and daily management of equity programs, ensuring they evolve alongside company growth
- Oversee accurate equity data reporting and analysis, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity
- Collaborate with the People team to prepare insightful reports and materials supporting leadership team benchmarking, equity grant cycles, and board/committee actions
- Monitor and optimize equity pool allocation across various programs and employee groups
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance equity compensation processes and systems
- Guide employees through equity compensation matters with clear, accessible communication
You're probably a match if:
- You hold a Certified Equity Professional, Level 3 certification, with experience in late-stage private companies and IPO preparation at global technology companies
- You bring deep expertise in managing diverse equity plans, including stock options, RSUs, and performance-based awards across multiple jurisdictions
- You're proficient with Shareworks and have advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, macros)
- You understand U.S. federal, state, and global equity taxation, including regulatory compliance requirements
- You have experience with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements
- You excel at collaborative leadership and thrive in fast-paced, growing environments
- You have strong team management capabilities
- You can explain complex concepts in clear, approachable terms
